Do you have a question that's not on this list? Contact us today and we'd be more than happy to answer it for you.

Financial Questions

  • Do you have a standard trip charge for all service calls?

We currently don’t charge an additional trip charge for the Fox Cities area; however, some surrounding cities are subject to a $25 trip charge. Please call our office for further information.

  • What types of payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

  • Do you provide financing?

We provide financing on new or replacement equipment purchases through GE Capital. We provide different options including six and 12 months same as cash.

General Questions

  • What is Bob's Quality Heating & Air Conditioning’s service area?

We service Appleton and the surrounding Fox Cities area - extending to Calumet County and areas of Brown and Winnebago Counties.

  • What are your hours of service?

Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, our 24-hour emergency service is always available.

  • What can I expect timewise for a service appointment, and how can I schedule one?

Regular annual maintenance and repair services are generally scheduled in two-hour increments to allow our service technician enough time to properly service your equipment. You can expect our appointments to be scheduled between 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM (earliest) and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (latest).

Service Questions

  • How is your duct cleaning service conducted?

We use high-efficiency particle air vacuuming equipment. You can expect our technician to be there for 2-4 hours performing this service, which involves vacuuming and brushing various heating and cooling system components.

There are many benefits of duct cleaning. It saves money on heating and cooling, eliminates odors and dust, and reduces allergens in the air, thereby helping people with allergies and other chronic health issues. For more information, see our duct cleaning page.

  • How often should I have my heating and cooling equipment serviced?

Heating and air conditioning units should be serviced annually. The best scenario is to have your heating system checked in the fall and the air conditioning in the spring. Oil-fired equipment should definitely be serviced annually.
